Holiday Giveback

Eligibility: GLCU’s “Holiday Giveback Campaign” is open to all GLCU members 18 years of age or older. The drawing is not offered to GLCU employees, officers, Board of Directors, and members of their immediate families (spouse, civil union partner, parent, grandparent, child, sibling, members of the same household, and any in-law relationship). This contest is subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited. No purchase necessary. To qualify, GLCU members must fill out the entry form beginning November 12 and ending close of business on December 6, 2024.

How to Enter: GLCU members must fill out the Smartsheet Form during the entry period for a chance to win one of twenty (20) $250 prizes. Winners will be selected by a random drawing. ALTERNATE METHOD OF ENTRY: To enter without filling out the form, mail a 5"x 7" index card in a sealed stamped envelope to “GLCU Holiday Giveback,” P.O. Box 1289, Bannockburn, IL 60015. Include your name, phone number, email address, member account number, and a short statement on how you would use a $250 prize for yourself, your family and friends this holiday season. Members may only submit one entry regardless of entry method. Duplicate entries are void.

Winner Selection: Twenty (20) winners will be chosen at random from all entries received by close of business December 6, 2024. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries. GLCU's contest decisions are final and binding. The winner will be notified by telephone, email, and/or letter by December 20, 2024. If the winner is determined ineligible the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner selected.

Miscellaneous: Winnings will be deposited into the winner’s GLCU share savings or checking account. Non-compliance with these Official Rules may result in disqualification and awarding of prize to an alternate winner. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and agree that: 1) GLCU has the right and permission to use (unless prohibited by law) their name, voice, city/state of residence, biographical information, photograph, and/or likeness for advertising and/or trade and/or any other purpose in any media or format, online or offline, now or hereafter known without further compensation, permission, or notification; and 2) GLCU and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, attorneys, representatives and agents have no liability and will be held harmless for any liability, loss, injury or death to entrant or any other person, including, without limitation, damage to personal or real property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize or participation in this Contest. 3) Winner is responsible for paying any and all federal and state taxes due on winnings.
