Why is my credit card changing?
The servicer of your credit card has been changed to Elan Financial Services. With this change you will be able to take advantage of:
Why am I getting a new card?
As part of our commitment to providing members with valuable and competitive credit card products, we are updating our card program and issuing new cards to all cardholders. Please activate your card upon receipt. Once activated, you can immediately begin using your new card.
Will my credit card account number change?
Yes, you will have a new credit card account number.
What will my new rate be?
Please refer to the Change in Terms notice mailed 12/30. If you do not have a copy of the Change in Terms notice, please contact Cardmember Service at 800-558-3424 for a new copy.
How can I activate my new card?
You may activate your card by calling the number on the back of the card or connect with Cardmember Service at 800-558-3424.
Will my credit limit change?
You will continue to enjoy the same credit limit on your new card. Your credit limit will be shown on the card mailer that will arrive with your new card.
What will happen to my current balance?
All current balances will transfer automatically to your new credit card at the existing rate(s).
How will this impact my credit report?
The transfer of your card will not negatively impact your credit report. The name of the servicer for your credit card will change from GLCU to Elan Financial Services.
Can I request a new Credit Limit?
You can call Cardmember Service 24/7 at the number on the back of your new card to apply for a credit line increase at any time.
Can I request a Balance Transfer?
You can call Cardmember Service 24/7 at the number on the back of your new card to request a balance transfer.
What payment methods are available with my new credit card?
You may pay your monthly bill by:
Do I need to update my credit card number anywhere (recurring payments; bill pay; automatic billing)?
Yes, anywhere your card number is stored will need to be updated. Don’t forget to add your new credit card to your device in your digital wallet.
What if I have issues with my card (not working, lost/stolen, transaction inquiries/disputes)?

Can I still view my Credit Card within Online Banking?
Yes, you may access your credit card, view payment and balance information, as well as make payments through GLCU’s Online Banking portal by navigating to the Credit Card option.
Will my rewards program change?
Yes, you will automatically be enrolled in a new Rewards program, with great benefits. You will no longer earn points under your current rewards program as of February 19, 2022. The last date to redeem earned points, on your current rewards program, is February 19, 2022.
What will happen to my current rewards balance?
Your previous rewards point balance will appear in your new credit card account and you will continue earning credit card reward points.
How do I redeem my reward points?
March 16th, you will be able to redeem your credit card reward points. You can call the Rewards
Center at 1-888-229-8864 or visit the Online Account Access website at www.myaccountaccess.com.
