  2. Yes, you have the option to make extra principal payments. Please clearly detail the amount of the principal curtailment on your payment advice/coupon. Your loan must be current with no fees outstanding before a principal curtailment will be applied. The benefit of making extra principal payments is that your account will mature sooner resulting in less interest being paid over the life of the loan.

  3. Contact our Customer Service Group at (855)-745-4344. If PMI cancellation is permitted on your particular loan, we will be happy to send you a package outlining the requirements to remove PMI from your account.

  5. Ordering a payoff statement is easy using a touch-tone telephone and our automated information system. Follow the prompts at (855)-745-4344. Our turnaround time for having a statement mailed is approximately 48-hours. Requests to have statements faxed are usually handled within 24-hours. You may also order a payoff statement by speaking directly with a Customer Service Representative.

  6. Once your loan indebtedness has been satisfied in full, the escrow/surplus balance (if any) will be refunded to the mailing address on our system within approximately 15 business days of the payoff transaction. If you are moving, please be sure to provide any change of address at the time of loan payoff.

  7. If you are having difficulty making your mortgage payments due to circumstances beyond your control, we may be able to help. We have a number of ways to work with you during these difficult financial times that may help you keep your home. If you are having trouble, please do not delay in contacting us at (833) 275-4528.

  15. You can enroll online for eStatements to receive your monthly billing and tax statements electronically. Access to your statements via the GLCU website will be provided. If you also sign up to receive email notifications, you will be sent an email when your monthly mortgage and 1098 Tax Form becomes available for viewing.

  16. You can view payment activity by accessing the "Mortgage" tab in Online Banking.

  17. You can view next due dates for all property related taxes and insurance policies by accessing the “Escrow Info” tab in the Mortgage section of your GLCU account.  Email notifications can be enabled to alert you when insurance premiums and taxes have been paid.

  18. Payments completed will be viewable on your GLCU account within 48 hours.

  19. Log into online banking, click manage my mortgage, click payments, click online payment.
