Want to add an extra layer of protection to your account?
Using a strong password is absolutely necessary for online and mobile banking, but what about in-person transactions at our branches or over the phone with a Call Center Representative?
As an additional security measure, you now have the option to setup a Code Word on your account. Set a code word that’s easy to remember, but hard for a fraudster to guess. Don't use your maiden name, children or pet names, or any other information that a thief can easily learn about you online or on social media. Select a word that contains a combination of 6 to 20 alpha and numeric characters and remember, do not share your code word with anyone who should not have access to your account.
We are encouraging all members to consider adding a code word by simply asking a GLCU representative next time you visit one of our branches, speak to a Call Center Representative, or click on the Services tab in WebConnect.
