PIN REVERSALS HOAX! The Internet can often quickly spread "urban myth" stories. One of the newest is PIN reversal at an ATM to signal duress. Financial Institutions within the United States have not deployed this technique despite several well circulated email chain letters that have misstated this fact. Please be advised that PIN reversal is not a valid security option at the ATM.
