AFTER HOURS FRAUD PROTECTION SERVICE
GLCU uses an after hours Fraud Detection Service. The service calls to verify recent transaction activity on your GLCU accounts. If the service cannot reach you they will leave a call back number of 877-504-1038. Please contact the call back number or contact GLCU directly at 847- 578-7000 or toll free at (800) 982-7850 to verify recent transaction activity. This will help prevent the early stages of possible fraud and prevent your card from being blocked by GLCU.

Please remember that Great Lakes Credit Union will never contact you to authenticate your personal or account information via phone, email or any other electronic device.

PIN REVERSALS HOAX!
The Internet can often quickly spread "urban myth" stories. One of the newest is PIN reversal at an ATM to signal duress. Financial Institutions within the United States have not deployed this technique despite several well circulated email chain letters that have misstated this fact. Please be advised that PIN reversal is not a valid security option at the ATM.
