Skip A Payment

Need extra cash for a family vacation, back to school shopping or an unexpected car repair? Take advantage of our Skip A Payment Program, which allows you to postpone your vehicle payment with Great Lakes Credit Union. For your convenience, you can choose the month to skip that works best for you.

Eligible Loans:

• New and Used Auto Loans
• Motorcycle Loans
• RV and Travel Trailer Loans
• VISA Credit Cards 

Requirements:

• $25 fee per skipped payment
• Maximum of 2 Skip A Payment per loan per rolling calendar year.
• All accounts with the credit union must be in good standing.
• You must have made 12 consecutive monthly payments on time.
• Completed and signed Skip a Payment Form must be completed prior to the due date you wish to skip. 

How do I take advantage of the Skip A Payment Program?

• Print the Skip A Payment Form
• Complete and Sign Form
• Return Form to GLCU via mail, fax, e-mail or drop it off at one of our branch offices

Interest and finance charges will continue to accrue on your loan during the month you skip your payment and the term of your loan will be extended.
