Branch Receptionist

North Chicago, IL

Functions:

  • Greets all visitors and identifies their needs and helps direct them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Answers members’ basic account questions. 
  • Processes check orders, verifies deposit requests, prints account transaction histories, and prepares statement copies.
  • Cross sells GLCU products and services at every opportunity, maintaining favorable member relations. 
  • Creates and maintains a friendly environment and ensures prompt, efficient and courteous service to members while remaining alert and observant to surrounding to identify and report any suspicious activity.


Requirements:

  • Ability to follow complex written and verbal instructions.
  • Knowledge of financial products and services.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred, but not required.
