Sales and Service Representative

Primary Duties:

  • Works with members to identify their needs and refer appropriate GLCU products and services to help them achieve their financial objectives. 
  • Provide counseling to members regarding their loan eligibility, lending criteria, and if necessary, reasons for denial.
  • Process loan applications, gather necessary loan documentation, and fund loans.
  • Cross sell other GLCU products and services. 
  • Meet/Exceed established sales goals.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of financial products and services, and ability to analyze which products/services will best serve GLCU members.
  • Proven sales skills, preferably from work experience in a credit union or bank.
  • Work experience using pc, Excel, e-mail, customer data base, data systems, etc.
  • Ability to read and follow complex instructions, procedures, and policies.
  • Ability to perform work with highest level of accuracy.
