Compliance - Regulatory AssistantNorth Chicago, ILHours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Primary Duties:
- Conduct research and monitor laws and regulations relating to financial institutions.
- Review and revise GLCU policies and procedures to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Maintain and update BSA Risk Assessment and related policies.
- Communicate changes/corrections to appropriate departments and parties.
- Perform a variety of audits relating to compliance.
- Plan and conduct compliance-related training.
- Serve as a resource for management and staff in responding to day-to-day compliance-related questions.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of regulatory and compliance rules and regulations related to the operation of financial institutions. -
Ability to conduct internet research and successfully use on-line training resources. -
Knowledge of the operation of financial institutions, and of retail financial products and services. -
Strong reading and comprehension skills, along with the ability to communicate clearly in writing and orally -
Ability to detect and research/investigate anomalies, while at the same time maintaining a high level of confidentiality. Positions listed are subject to change at any time at discretion of Great Lakes Credit Union.
